Our Team
Anna Hoppel
Anna manages social strategies for clients and leads the way on visual content creation. Before joining Mixbie, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, a librarian, and a digital studio technician. Exploring the ins-and-outs of social media and communication is fascinating to her. She also has a passion for color and typography and appreciates any opportunity to pursue creative work, whether that’s painting, photography, graphic design, or writing blog posts. She’s a Philadelphia native and is currently duel-enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, pursuing a joint BFA in Painting.
At the moment, she’s located in Queen Village with her two cats. In her free time, you can find her wandering around South Street, visiting museums, biking, hiking, and attempting to play guitar.
Mikaela Larsen
Mikaela creates websites and edits blogs and other written content. She is currently a dual-enrolled student at the Community College of Philadelphia, working towards an A.A. in International Studies, and her professional experience includes positions as a web designer and business analyst at STRATIS IoT. In her work, she has a particular focus on working with and learning about accessible design and digital marketing. She loves learning languages of all kinds, from Python to Japanese, and is enthusiastic about the possibilities that result from a multifaceted and global perspective towards business.
Mikaela lives in Mount Airy, where she enjoys reading, playing music, drinking copious amounts of green tea, and hiking in the Wissahickon with her dog in her free time.
Soleil Hawley
Soleil develops social media strategies and generates written content. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied fine art, art history, and communications, she began doing research and business analytics at STRATIS IoT. With experience as a historical researcher and writer at the historic landmark home, Grumblethorpe, and as a marketing intern for BuLogics, a Philadelphia-based engineering firm, her passion for storytelling, media, and outreach has taken many different forms. She’s a firm believer and advocate for interdisciplinarity and the endless potential of bringing different disciplines together.
When she’s not working, Soleil propagates succulents, drinks too much coffee, paints, reads, and studies acting. She has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer and East Falls Local.
